Who we are and what this policy covers
Black Radial (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a product engineering studio. This policy explains how information is handled on this website and when you contact us through our project inquiry form or by email.
It does not replace any privacy or data-processing terms agreed for a client project, and it does not cover third-party websites linked from our portfolio or social profiles. For privacy questions, contact hello@blackradial.com.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. Our inquiry form asks for your name, email address, project type, and project brief. You may also provide a company name, target timeline, and investment range. Email correspondence may include other information you choose to share.
- Website and technical information. Our hosting, analytics, and media providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages visited, interaction events, and website performance data. The information collected varies by provider and your browser settings.
Please do not send passwords, payment card details, sensitive personal information, or confidential material that is not needed to discuss your project.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and discuss potential projects.
- Prepare proposals and manage business correspondence.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Understand website usage and monitor loading speed and reliability.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating the website and responding to inquiries, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. The appropriate basis depends on the purpose and local law.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and may process device identifiers, browser information, approximate location, and usage events. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for traffic and performance measurement.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics or third-party requests may affect some website features.
More information about Google’s handling of data is available in its Privacy Policy. Browser controls and opt-out tools do not replace any consent requirements that apply under local law.
Sharing and service providers
The website relies on the following third-party services:
- Resend delivers inquiry form submissions to our email inbox, including the contact details and project information you submit.
- Vercel provides hosting, web analytics, and performance insights.
- Google Analytics provides website usage measurement.
- Mux delivers the homepage background video and receives the technical information needed to serve that video.
Information may also be handled by email providers when you contact us, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and website security. Providers handle information according to their terms and privacy documentation.
Portfolio demos and social links lead to external websites. Their operators are responsible for their own privacy practices.
Retention and security
Inquiry information and correspondence are retained for as long as needed to respond to your request, manage a business relationship, or meet legal and recordkeeping obligations. Retention may vary by the nature of the inquiry and any subsequent agreement. Technical and analytics data are also subject to provider retention settings.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us if you believe information you have shared with us has been compromised.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy laws may differ between countries. Details about providers’ processing locations and transfer safeguards are available in their privacy documentation. You may contact us with questions about how your inquiry information is handled.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email hello@blackradial.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.
You can choose not to submit an inquiry form and can manage analytics cookies through your browser. Without the required contact details, we may be unable to respond to a project request.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for businesses and professional audiences, not children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this website, contact us so we can review the submission and take appropriate action.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the website, our services, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Any additional notice required by applicable law will be provided where relevant.
